Volunteer Taster Days

Come to one of our volunteer taster days.
On both Wednesday 11 May and Thursday 12 May between 10.30am – 11.30am we will be inviting prospective volunteers into our office in Follaton House, Totnes to find out more about volunteering at Citizens Advice South Hams.
The taster day will give you an opportunity to see our office, meet some of our friendly team and find out more about the role.
We welcome people from all walks and stages of life. No experience or knowledge of advice is necessary as full training is provided in an interactive eight week programme. IT confidence is essential, as is the ability to provide an empathetic ear to people at a time of need.
The next training course runs in the mornings for eight weeks starting Tuesday 24 May 2022 and is a mixture of online and in person training at our office in Totnes. Trainees need to commit to another half-day training each week. There are opportunities for remote volunteering once training is complete.
