Royal Mail Strike Action

There is possible Royal Mail strike action on the 26 & 31 August and 8 & 9 September.

This is the guidance from the Royal Mail website:

On days when strike action is taking place:

  • Royal Mail will deliver as many Special Delivery and Tracked24 parcels as possible
  • Royal Mail will prioritise the delivery of COVID test kids and medical prescriptions wherever possible
  • Royal Mail will not be delivering letters (with the exception of Special Delivery)

What you can do:

  • Post your items as early as possible in advance of the strike dates
  • Continue to post your items at post boxes or post offices, however collections will be less frequent on days when strike action is taking place

Collections from business customers, post offices and post boxes will resume the day after strike action finishes

You can get further information from the Royal Mail website here.

Your
Feedback

I was impressed with the attitude, depth of knowledge and the attention to detail that was given to my problem. They took great care in explaining my rights, options, and responsibilities in resolving it. I would recommend Citizens Advice to anyone with a problem as the help is wide-ranging.
