This year we have, for the first time, recruited three apprentices. The apprenticeship is for 1 year working in our offices in Totnes. Each young person will, at the end of their year, receive an NVQ in Customer Service awarded through South Devon College.
The scheme has been so successful that each apprentice has been offered work, two of them within Citizens Advice. We are very pleased for them but will miss them so much as they have been such a great asset to our team. We would like to be able to offer this opportunity again for some more young local people.
